After dropping off our presents at JYP, We went down to BRGR from JYP since we’re hungry and BRGR was one of the destinations that we wanted to visit since Wonder Girls went there before in MTV S3. But when we reached there the restraint was kinda full so we decided to find food that was nearby instead.

We was roaming around trying to find food until we saw Sunye walking towards our direction, holding onto her cup of starbucks. I was mouthing “Sunye Sunye…” when we was getting closer and I think she managed to read my lips when she took a glimpse at me. We didn’t call out for her right away since we was all still in a state of shock, so we followed her to BRGR (just a few metres away) and went up to her. Sunye was at the counter with her Korean friends to order food so I went up to her ….

Me: Sunye…Sunye… Sunye : Ohh…*puts out her hand to give a handshake

[She shook everyone’s hands]

Me: Hi Sunye, We’re from Singapore

Sunye: Oh! I miss Singapore!~ You’re here for vacation?

Me: Nope, We’re here for you guys, Wonder Girls.

Sunye: OMGOSHH~ You guys are so lucky. How did you know that I was here?

Me: We was just walking around and bumped into you….

Sunye: Is it okay if I can order my food first?

All: Sure. no problem.go ahead…

Me: *I took out the Korean fan cheer sheet from the Korean Concert for Sunye to sign*

Sunye: Uh can you help me with this? *while holding the purple painty upwards

Me: Uh? *realises the cap* Oh! Okay *took it off

Sunye: Thank You….*Signs and stops at “To:”….Christine?

Me: Nooo.. Apple.

Sunye: Apple?

Me: Sagwa…you know?

Sunye: Ahhh~

POV: (omg I would die if it was signed to Christine hahahhaa)

Sunye: Ah can you help me with this too? (to take off the cap from the marker LOL)

Me: Oh~ *takes it off

Sunye: *signs…. Ah this is not working….A black marker will work better

Tom: I’ve got a black sharpie!

Sunye: Oh good! *returns purple marker and takes tom’s sharpie and signs over her purple siggy *returns tom’s marker

Me: *I suddenly thought of my whiteboard and took it out again and wrote “-> Sunye” to take a picture with her*

Sunye: *peeks to try and see what I wrote and laughed after reading it. (SO CUTE!)

Me: Yeah…*takes christine’s camera

Me: *fumbles with camera…urm…do you want to do it instead?

Me: (Gave up at this point) Sunye, I’ve got a present for you. I left it at the JYP center already.

Sunye: Ohh! 선물!~

Me: Ahh! Yes! Yes! Sorry my Korean is fail…

Sunye: No it’s okay my English isn’t that good also….

Woke up early in the morning, headed down to NYC from NJ to drop gifts for Wonder Girls. We reached JYPE building and met tom

Just outside JYPE . well we saw David and another staff taking out notes pasted by fans for Jaebom .We waited for about 15 mins , and decided to ask David to pass our gifts for WG.

After that , we waited at JYPE building for 1 hr because we are meeting another wonderful to arrive . So we decided to visit the place WG visited b4 during MTV season 3 which was BRGR for lunch . Took a subway there.

And when we reached BRGR we looked inside there was no seats. So we discussed to go to another restaurant instead. So we walked down the street, and here it comes…

It was only a junction that we walked away from BRGR . We saw sunye! . At first I was wondering in my mind is it her? and the next min she adjusted her hair . OK! is her LOL! and after she walk pass us . I shouted! omg is sunye ! SUNYE!

And I jumped like a babo -.-” .. All of us saw her . and we decided to follow behide her ( ok i know is creepy LOL but who wont right? ) and we crossed the junction again .. guess what? she went into BRGR -.-!! .. tsssss . so we went in also

and apple approached her when she’s q-ing up for food .. She turned and say yes? . we told her we’re from Singapore and she replied are u guys here for vacation? and apple answered no , we came here for WonderGirls/You ( cant rmb what apple said)

she offered us a handshake , i was sooooooooo nervous and bow to her while shaking hand with her XD We chatted for about 5 mins and she said can i order food first? we was like oh yea yea sure . but in the end she didnt order her food cos her friend bought for her . and then i took out my handphone, the next min  she said do u wanna take a picture . and i replied immediately YES!

and she took a pictures with everyone . cute part of sunye was after taking she asked me ” is it nice? ” ( she meant the pics i took for her) and i showed her the pictures she said ” ahhh ok ” .. apple asked sunye to selcas with her and sunye took my camera and self cam with apple LOL! .. ( spazzzzzzzing like crazy with yix cos sunye was holding on to my camera )

and i took out nobody album and a marker for her to sign on it .. and she signed on yubin side LOL!! =x .. apple spoke korean to sunye telling her that we had gifts for her and it was at JYPE . and yea thats all i can remember .. was too happy and we said bye to her and went out of the restaurant cause we doesnt wanna waste her time cause she has to eat her lunch .

Wanted to eat at brgr but it was full so we decided to go other places… so we were walking and not far away, i saw sunye.. at first i thought if it is really sunye and i was just focused on her face and kept looking at her.. she was like 1 person away from us.. and after she walked closer like next to me, then i confirmed it was sunye cos wonder girls have AURA lollll… the first time i see her also i thought she was glowing!!! after we identified her we all got excited and chased after her.  then we saw sunye with her classmate going into brgr for lunch.. i remember it was appy that told us to stop hiding so we went into brgr..

but i remembered that sunye asked if we wanted to take a picture of her and ofcos we said yes xD we also took out albums for her to sign. but i forgot to bring my album so i took out a paper =/

apple took out her whiteboard and purple marker for her to sign but purple wasn’t very clear.. and she said “Oh.. this isn’t working, a black one will do better.” and tom lend her a black marker and she re-signed it again.

So the concert in Toronto was MASSIVE. 55000 people! But before it even started, my friend calls me and tells me that he JUST saw the Wonder Girls and he ran across the street to get a picture of Yeeun and Sunye xD

When I finally go to the stadium, ended up waiting outside for 1-2 hours trying to get in x_x After getting, waited for 6 Honor Society songs before the Wonder Girls came, and it was totally worth the wait. They did their standard Nobody lesson before doing Nobody and they were great! After their performance, I went and preorder their CD and bought a poster and then I went to wait for them at the meet and greet area and was 15th in line lol. Saw Hana and fantastics a couple of times passing by. So after about 2-3 hours? I think? Wonder Girls were finally coming. There was soo many people in line, made me glad I arrived early lol.

So while waiting in line, Hana was in front letting us take pictures. I tried getting a picture with her but she was too busy, and kinda intimidating LOL. Also, her hair is so BIG. Only managed to get 2 decent pictures.

Me on the right beside Yoobin And my brother beside Sohee. Luckily, since we preorder the CD, we got autographs from Wonder Girls for my poster They’re all soo gorgeous.

So after the pictures I was just standing around in the area just taking pictures of them with other people when JYP shows up! He was wearing casual clothing and was a really nice guy. He came in and just started signing autographs and taking pictures. This guy is SO tall and nice. I went up to him and asked for a picture and he was like sure!

That’s pretty much my fan account lol. Lots of waiting and anticipating, met about 4 spec members (MolTeaser, chu, and forgot the rest ) Here are some more pictures of the Wonder Girls:

So the morning of the 30th August, I decided to go see the CN tower before heading to Rogers Center to see the Wonder Girls [again] since the two places are literally side by side.

I walked to the CN Tower (a literal 6 minute walk) and passed the Rogers Center and O_O WHOA! Jonas Brothers fans are already lined up and it was hardly noon yet (approximately 11AM).

I went to the CN Tower and saw the glass floor which was totally awesome and made me all dizzy cos I’m no good with heights @.@ so I walked around and headed off to a cafe for lunch – that would be around 12:30PM.

I decided to walk back to my room since the Wonder Girls won’t have the Public Dance Session until 4PM (which they usually hold in all other concerts). So I walked back to my room at the hostel but before that, I walked pass the Rogers Center again and saw another crowd of Jonas Brothers’ fans gathering ~ JB fans are just WHOA! O_O …. and then I suddenly heard my name.

“Helen?”

I turned around and saw these 2 small girls wearing self made Wonder Girls t-shirts.

“Are you Helen? from Spectacle?”

I nodded and was like: “O_O How do you know me?”

Turned out one of the girls was also from Spectacle forum (mishie) and she contacted me in the forum a few weeks back about going to the Toronto concert as well. I told her I was heading back to the dorm and will be back later if the girls had a Dance Session.

====went back to the dorm and checked twitter to see if they tweeted about the Dance Session====

I went back to the Roger Center around 2:30PM and this time, I was totally rocking it out in my Wonder Girls official t-shirt! I did a round of the Roger Center and then suddenly, someone came up to me and asked “Are you MoLteaser?” ~ that’s the alias I go by in forums ~ and I was like: “Yes…and you are?”

Turned out she was the person that tweeted to me on twitter about going to the Toronto concert and she wanted to stick by me since she came alone. After a while, two more guys came up to me and asked if I was also waiting for the Wonder Girls (I guess the Wonder Girls’ t-shirt helped attracted Wonderfuls to me)… ^___^

At around 3:30PM or thereabouts, more WOnder Girls fans came up to me and asked me questions about the Dance Session. I tried calling the Wonder Girls’ marketing manager, Hana, but I think since I only had her US number, it didn’t work in Canada =.= … So by now, there was a group of Wonderfuls standing together and one of them asked me if I was MoLteaser from Spectacle – and once again, I said yes …

4:00PM and still no WOnder Girls and sure enough, the Dance Session never happened BUT…

LO AND BEHOLD! THE WONDER GIRLS!

They walked out from the parking lot from their bus and headed to an underground section on the OTHER side of the road. O_O People started screaming and I looked over and saw Sun Mi’s distinctive orange hair and So hee and Ye Eun walking behind them. I didn’t want to miss the chance so I ran across the road and ran after them.

I screamed out YOOBIN!! and Ye Eun turned around LOL … she waved at me and then I saw other wonderfuls catching up behind me. Of course, I whipped out my camera for uber stalker photo time. My zoom is epic fail but I managed to get some photos of them.

They were stuck at security and Ye Eun was standing outside, casually waving to the fans and everything – she was so nice!

So after they went inside the building, other wonderfuls and I went back to the other side of the road and started spazzing like crazy! Some Jonas Brotehrs fans asked us whether we saw the Wonder Girls and …. more spazzing! We started promoting the Wonder Girls straight away, telling them about the girls and how they’ll be opening for the Jonas Brothers and asking JB fans to give some support ^^

At this point in time, Corra and her friend showed up and I told them they missed WG by ten minutes or so…

Corra” O___O …. =.=” ….FML

So since we had soo much time left until the actual concert starts – it was around 4:30PM and the concert doesn’t start until 7:30PM – we started going on a hunt for food. Corra and her friend (sorry, I totally cannot remember your name ><) just went and got a hotdog but since I just left New York – a hotdog was the LAST thing I would want to eat -.-”

In the end we went to Harvey’s (a fast food resataurant) – we stayed there and ate and talked for a long while. Totally spazzing about Wonder Girls and then SNSD (some of the people there were from soshified.com) and there were a few from soompi as well. It was pretty awesome meeting them – really cool people – some of them went to the Hollywood Bowl this year and saw SNSD LIVE!

After eating, we took group pictures which I didn’t get on my camera but will post it up once the other girls email it to me. There was a good 10+ of us Wonderfuls so it was pretty awesome.

====ENTERING THE ARENA====

I was at Gate 5 so I went and lined up with Corra, her friend and John (I think that was his name…well, he is now known as John). IT WAS SOOOO PACKED! I thought Atlanta was crazy – Toronto is Atlanta x 10! People were literally sardines!

We were pretty bored so I put on Nobody from my phone on loud and the other three started singing and dancing! I recorded that and it will be uploaded soon! ^^

====IN THE ARENA=====

We got in at 7PM and I wandered around for a while and saw the same merchandise they were selling in Atlanta but it was so crowded so I decided to buy stuff afterwards.

I went to the loo instead and the line was MASSIVE! While in line, I met 2 more Wonderfuls who were pretty awesome as well, we talked and then started spazzing (girly squeal type spazzing) when we started talking about GD’s new album and how epic CL from 2NE1 is! *insert fangirly squeal*

Afterwards, I had trouble finding my seats but eventually got it … another Wonderful was sitting behind me and she travelled from KOREA to see the Wonder Girls! EPIC!

Honour Society performed first and same routine, they performed a lot of songs and I was getting impatient so I played around with the settings of my camera which seemed like it’s screwing up since I got it wet durng my trip to Niagara Falls -.-

Then the lights went on and the crew members started putting up the microphones – I knew they were next! I looked behind me and saw how excited the other wonderful was and I was pretty hyped up myself! Honestly, no matter how many times this happens, I will never get used to seeing the Wonder Girls in person!!! Same feelings! Total excitement!!!!

They had on really nice golden swishy dresses and once again, instead of taking videos or photos, I was up and dancing like there was no tomorrow.

People around me were dancing as well and looked like they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. One of the girls behind me were like: “O_o she knows the whole dance!” — mwuahaha which I did … and since the two seats beside me were empty, I could totally go nutzo!! — not like I’ll ever see any of these people again so why not eh? NUTZOOOOOO!

After the performance, the girls announced the preorder of their debut album which can be preordered at the venue and that their meet and greet will be heald at section 108!…i noted that number down immediately.

Normally, I would stay for Jordan Sparks but this time, I shot off to search out Section 108. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan*tastic this time round so I didn’t get to meet the girls backstage but that’s ok, I’ve done that before so now is a chance for other wonderfuls ^^

When I got to section 108, I met Hana (marketing manager) and talked to her for a bit about fan*tastics in Atlanta and why there wasn’t a Dance Session at 4PM -.- … she said they won’t be havin gthe Dance Session anymore and she was in a hurry because the chosen ‘fan*tastics’ were not showing up.

So she went on a search for them – I felt sorry for Hana cos she looked so freaking stressed out!

So I waited around and met up with all the wonderfuls I met at the start and we continued to spazz…more people arrived and there was a crowd standing my section 108. I was bored after a while so I went back to look inside and watched Jordan Sparks’ performance which was once again – TOTAL EPICNESSSSSSS!

Then while I was talking to John, the 2 Korean Wonderfuls came and literally DRAGGED me by the arms and told me to run to Gate 3! Because Hana was there and she was going to choose more fan*tastics since some did a no show =.= … I have not done so much running in my life!!

Went there…no Hana so I went back =.=

At Gate 108, Hana showed up (I could have not done all that running!!)…and said she needed 4 more fan*tastics and the Korean Wonderfuls went nutzo and was so in her face about it LOL … everyone was like: pick me pick me!!

I just stood at the back cos Hana looked like she didn’t need more drama.

She eventually chose 4 girls but not the Korean Wonderfuls and they were soooo bummed about that which is understandable.

====SKIP! You guys don’t need to know about me going nutzo buying everything in site (note: it was bought for Spectacle members who asked me to get stuff for them – they’re paying me back of course =.=)====

I walked back to section 108 and saw Hana and the fan*tastics handing out fliers (like what I did in Atlanta)…I talked to Hana a bit again, about the girls’ proposed events in Cleveland but all she said was that I should keep an eye out on the Wonder Girls’ twitter and facebook and didn’t reveal anymore…darn it! ><

WHile handing out the fliers to fan*tastics to pass out, Hana asked if I would like to help out as well and gave me a stack.

Well…the Wonder Girls weren’t there and I was bored so I might as well help out. So I did what I did in Atlanta and approached people and handed out fliers. People this time round were more apathetic towards the Wonder Girls. Some made a face when they saw the flier and I just backed off – no point pushing it in their faces when they already made up their mind NOT to like the girls.

After handing out fliers for a good 10 -15 minutes, I saw people putting up bars and setting up the Wonder Girls banner for the Meet and Greet.

Then – *insert massive high pitched girly squeal from a crowd of over 30+ people*

I turned and there they were, in their awesome golden swishy dresses coming out from…i don’t know where — but they headed towards the Meet and Greet. They all held out their hands to hi 5 people on the side….sadly, I didn’t get to hi 5 any of them because, one hand I was holding my camera to film the event and the other hand, I was holding fliers -.-

But they were SOOOO close to me once again *insert dramatic faint*

The line by this time was HUGE! I stood around and went crazy taking pictures and recording videos and screaming out Yoobin LOL (I don’t know why, but whenever I open my mouth to call out to the Wonder Girls, Yoobin’s name escapes hahahaha….)

I then went and passed out more fliers and doing an epic job promoting the girls (even if i do say so myself) … people were more interested once I told them the Wonder Girls were over there and are taking photos with fans.

====JYP – THE MAN HIMSELF!====

WHile passing out fliers, another epic screaming fest came from the crowd and I looked around – JYP!! PARK JIN YOUNG! the ASIANSOUL!!! WTF!>>

He came out, all casual, in a black long sleeve shirt and casual pants – acting like he was not the most awesome producer and not one of S.Korea’s richest man! He was all casual and walked around casually signing stuff and taking photos with fans (I got a flier signed and also a photo taken)

I totally forgot my camera was on video mode and so JYP posed for a good 10 seconds with me and … nothing…=.=

It was uber embarassing and I apologised while i switched my camera mode and he posed again with me – really nice guy. He was all like: “No problem, it’s all cool…”

And that people – was JYP ^^

====FINALLY MEETING THE WONDER GIRLS [again]=====

By 11:30PM – the venue was desserted apart from the line that was lined up to meet the Wonder Girls.

And like I planned, I lined up RIGHT AT THE BACK! The LAST person to see them…why?
Because, being the LAST person, I would have no one behind me rushing me to go so they can have their turn – smart eh?

And that was how it went.

Hana came and asked me how many preorders i had since people with preorders get autographs and I had 5! (of course, not all mine – I was asked to preorder for some Spec members) and so I got 5 fliers signed – one by each girl ^^

Ye Eun pulled me into the middle for the photo and both Yoobin and SUn Yewho were beside me, put their arms around me. I asked them “You guys remember me?”

Yoobin: OF COURSE! I love the furry friends chocolate you gave us. They were great!
Ye Eun: Of course we do!

The afterwards, I handed Sun ye a gift I got for the Wonder Girls as a whole (a book called ‘I’m grateful for…”) and inside were individual letters for them. I also went to Yoobin and said that I knew it was her birthday in October but I won’t see her then and I’d rather give it to her personally so … *whips out a velvet box* …. (NO! I was not proposing – sheesh!)

I told her I got her a little something for her birthday and I hoped she liked it – and consider it a really early birthday present.

Yoobin was all smiles and thanked me so many times – then pulled me in for a hug. Ye Eun and Yoobin (YEBIN!) were really interested in me and asked a lot of questions like ‘when are you going back to Australia?’ … ‘Are you here alone?’ … ‘What’s your name again? – (I realised, the last time I met them, I forgot to tell them my name LOL)…. ‘Thank you so much’ < not really a question but boy did they say this a lot! I didn’t have time to ask THEM questions >< and no solo pics with them either but the small conversation with YeBin made up for it <3

So Hee and Sun Mi looked really tired and you could so tell…so they didn’t speak at all. Sun ye was so quiet even when I handed her the gifts.

After that, I waited around until they left.

The other girls were rushed by the staff to leave but Yoobin stayed behind to sign more stuff for fans and talked to us some more (SWEET!)…and when she did finally leave, the group was no where in sight and you could see her running after them and looking so lost but totally adorable LOL

By the time I got back to my room – it was close to 1:30AM or 2AM – all my plans to going to Ottawa just disappeared because NO WAY was I going to be able to wake up early enough for the bus to Ottawa OR the money to go now -.- plus, I looked up where Scotiabank Place is and it’s literally in woop woop! Not within Ottawa City but on the outskirt which meant I’d have to catch a cab to get there after getting off the bus and NO WAY am I doing that – even if the Wonder Girls said they wanted to see me — it would be beyond what I can do (plus, my family would disown me if they knew O_O) ….

Sorry Nova, with the hype of going to Ottawa – i ended up not going – FAIL!

…Next time I meet the Wonder Girls will be: — if they’re going to NYC Chuseok festival OR when they tour Australia LOL

You guys had better come with me to their concert if they tour Australia! BECAUSE IT”LL BE EPIC!

Day One – Columbus (8/26/09)

So this day turned out to be better then I thought. *Goes into rant mode* I was suppose to be driving my car there but my dad decided to take it. So when I woke up the car was gone ><” . He told me it was my fault for not telling him when in fact I told him everyday for the last 2 weeks. That made me go into panic mode and insert a few teary angry words at my dad. Finally I got the car back, but I knew was going to be late for the dance session.

As I was getting on the freeway I realize I forgot Apple’s and Chris’s gift for Sunmi so I had to drive back. Then I realize again that I forgot the fan letter book and had to go back a second time. And finally had to go back a third time because I forgot my hotel reservations. So all in all I wasted like 30 minutes going back and forth
*Random Ends*

Finally I was in Columbus. We came exactly at 7 so we didn’t miss the WG performed (thank you so much).
After HS did their set WG came on. Seriously I was about to have a heart attack. They look so tall on stage. But what surprise me was that they performed Tell Me. It was so cool. Seeing them perform in front of me seemed so surreal. There sure is a big difference from seeing them on TV and in real life. After that they did their mini Nobody tutorial and then they did Nobody! It was once again amazing. ALOT of people did the Nobody dance with them. I was so happy to see that. After that they told us about the preorder for their CD. When they say their good byes and went down stage, Yoobin was so cute. She pretended to play the violin and was shaking her butt. Haha just too cute. (Too bad I couldn’t get this on camera). I left the concert and went to find the pre-order table. I met some sweet wonderfuls there. They were so nice. And we just started talking and trying to find out where the table was. We found it and I ordered my CD. (Which you can order online now).

After WG did their final bow I ran to where the pre-order table was before because that’s where the meet and greet was. The girls I met before were first haha they ran so fast and I was like 4th or something. Like 10 minutes alter the girls came. Now wow I know what everybody means when they say the WG are beautiful now. Like Sunmi she does look like a freaking doll. I waited in line and was just so excited. Finally I got to them. I say Hi and told them about Spec!. Also I told Sunmi Apple says Hi (haha how many times did she hear that?) and she was ahh apple! I know her.
We took our picture. Well it was a video and they started laughing at me b/c of that. Then we took our photo this time. I did a heart sign with Sunmi. She was all smiles when I asked her. I also got the WG flier autographed. I say my goodbyes and told them I’ll see them tomorrow. They were like Wow really? And YeEun gave me a hug when I left. <3

Then I saw JYP standing at the end of the line. So of course I ran to him. I told him HI and about how I admire him and about Spec! I think I talked too fast b/c he looked confused. SO then I talked slower and the look of confusion cleared and he was all smiles. I told him I made a shirt w/ JYP in the back. And he turned me around. I was like noo not this one I left it in the car. I’m wearing it tomorrow. And he laughs. I asked for a picture and we did the heart sign.

The girls I was with earlier was like Who’s that. I told them and they took pictures with him. And then some more came up to him.

When he was alone again I went up to him to ask for an autograph and a shout out to Spec! He did it and he was so sweet. I asked him if he’s having another concert and he was like Yes. He don’t know the exact date but most likely at the end of the year again!I was excited and told him I can;t wait and asked him to bring 2PM. I told him bye and he grab and hugged me bye!

So that was that. I did try finding their tour bus but no luck.

Let’s start from the beginning:
SCENE 1

The Wonder Girls announced they were going to do the opening act for the Jonas Brothers concerts.

Then JYPE (The Wonder Girls management company) posted an announcement about selecting people to join a group called the Wonder Girls Fan*tastics whereby you will get to meet the girls backstage and get some alone time with them – the catch? You will be handing out Wonder Girls fliers out to JB fans when they come out the concert and be full on advertising the girls ALSO that meant you’ll miss a lot of Jonas Brothers’ performances at the concert — I didn’t mind at all

Helen thinks: Jonas Brotehrs? PFFT! Whatever, I’ll not be caught dead going to a JB concert!

2 months before I leave for America – a skype chat with a friend online:

Helen (H): You’re going to JB’s concert in Atlanta?
Nova (N): Yeah – I have a spare ticket cos one of my friend is not coming so I might swap my ticket with Jeffy since he has crappy seats.
H: O___O HOLD ON! When is the Atlanta concert? How much is that ticket? HOLD IT!!
*runs off to find that the concert is on the 22nd Aug – the time when I’ll be in the US anyway*
N: Helen?
H: Nova – I’m coming to Atlanta – hold that ticket for me!

Next morning:
Helen: Mum, I’m going to Atlanta in 2 months to see the Wonder Girls?
Mum: O_O Are you for real? *not in that tone or those exact words but close enough*

SCENE 2

Auguest – a few days before leaving Australia – I went on facebook and saw Jeffy spazzing about being chosen to be a fan*tastic.

Why haven’t they called me?! Started feeling so bummed.

Emailed Nova and told her about Jeffy being a fan*tastic and how bummed I was.

2 Days before leaving Australia – went home and checked my email – the reply from Nova:

“I received two phonecalls from JYPE – we both made it into the fan*tastics!”

O____O …. =.=” oh right…i forgot – when I entered my entry to be a fan*tastic, I put her phone number instead of mine … lol

YAY! BACKSTAGE BABY!!!

SCENE 3

This was my flight schedule:

Melbourne (AUS) > Sydney (AUS) > LA (USA) > Chicago (USA) > Atlanta (USA)

The whole flights and transits at different airports all together was over 24 hours! Not to mention that I missed my flight from LA to Chicago and had to take a different flight there and almost missed my flight to Atlanta if not for it being delayed.

I arrived at the hotel sometime after midnight – 1 to 2AM (I can’t remember, I was too tired). Anyway, when I got to my hotel, I was tired and jetlagged so in my mind I was thinking, “Meeting the Wonder Girls had better be worth all this stress” – and that’s not just the physical stress but also the months of mental stress from my family objecting to this trip (oh the drama) and the stress of missing my flight. I thought, “If meeting the Wonder Girls turn out to be a disappointment then never again – never again!” – 24 hours was just killing me and I was also travelling alone for the first time so it was even more of a worry.

NEXT DAY – CONCERT DAY!

NOON

I met up with Nova and Jeffy for lunch but we didn’t end up eating anything but rather we went to the Aquarium because it IS the largest in the world – and it was HUGE! While walking around, we were waiting for th girls to tweet on whether they were having the Verizon Bus Dance Session but they never tweeted! So we thought it was cancelled.

So while we walked around the Aquarium, some JB fans saw us (we were all wearing Wonder Girls t-shirt) and asked us if we’re going to the concert later on. One of them asked me if I was a “Wonder Girl” O_O and I said I wasn’t but that we were ‘with’ the Wonder Girls. The JB fans asked if we had backstage passes and we said we were going to go backstage later to see the Wonder Girls. The JB fans started spazzing out and asking us to take them backstage (to see the Jonas Brothers) but we weren’t sure if we’d even see JB so we said we weren’t allowed (which was true too).

We all got a couple of stares while walking around in our awesome Wonder Girls tshirts.

5PM – 7PM

We thought we’d head over to the arena early to catch some Wonderfuls on the way there and also to hand out some fliers that Nova had made and photocopied. When we got there, there was nobody by the Verizon bus – only a few JB fans signing their name. Then suddenly a staff came and asked us if we’re there for the Wonder Girls and we said yes (we were draping Nova’s banners around ourselves by that point). She told us that they had just LEFT! O____O They never tweeted! When we asked Hana (Wonder Girls marketing manager) later on, she said that they initially weren’t going to have a dance session but then spontaneously changed their mind and forgot to tweet T__T. I was so bummed!

After that, the three of us walked around with Nova’s banners used as capes on myself and Nova whereas Jeffy was recording. Nova started handing out her fliers and people were curious. While lining up to get into the venue, we talked to 2 JB fans in front of us and they were curious as to who the Wonder Girls were – even asking what each girls’ name was. We gave them information on the Wonder Girls and such. It was good fun and hopefully gained new wonderfuls.

We walked around and saw merchandise stalls. There were 2 stalls at different ends of the arena, one end sold WG tshirts (black tshirts with glittery WG logo at the front and ‘I am a Wonder Girl’ at the back) – the other end sold Nobody posters (the same as the cover for their Nobody single).

Then we found a WG stall set up with forms to preorder their ALBUM! Not the single – the actual ALBUM! And the first 1000 preorders get the album autographed AND the Wonder Girls laptop case (I thought I heard that was going to be autographed as well but don’t quote me on it).

Another Wonderful bet us to be the 1st to order but that’s ok because Nova was the 2nd to order and I was 3rd — followed closely by Jeffy.

The guy at the stall was impressed with Nova’s banners and asked us if we could distribute some fliers and tell people about the preorders which we were happy to do.

THE CONCERT

I sat next to JB fans who were only enthusiastic about JB and screamed like there was no tomorrow whenever a picture of JB was on the big screen.

First to perform was Honour Society and they sang 6 songs! Or was it 7? It just went on for ages! Then up next was the WONDER GIRLS!

I was holding one of Nova’s banners and was in a dilemma – to hold up the banner and scream like mad OR to do the dance and sing like mad?

I chose the latter – since I saw Nova had already had her banner up.

NO ONE around me was dancing! I stood up and started doing the dance and gradually the people beside me did it as well but they sat down pretty quickly after the first chorus. So it was just me dancing and spazzing out – singing and screaming for the Wonder Girls to the point where I think I scared some JB fans.

Jordan Sparks was AMAZING! If there was another person I came for – that would be for Jordan Sparks – she sure knew how to put on a show. AMAZING!

FAN*TASTIC MEET

SO after the openings, I left the show to meet up with Nova and Jeffy (we sat in different sections) and we went to the Verizon Bus to meet the other fan*tastics and Hana.

SKIP – MEETING THE WONDER GIRLS!

So Hana took us down to a basketball stadium where we were asked to stand in a single filed line (which we all did very obediently and I think Hana was pleased with us). There was a section of the stadium that was draped in black curtains like a mini room in itself and that was where we were to meet the Wonder Girls individually or as a group. Nova, Jeffy and I decided we’ll go as a group to meet them.
Suddenly the door inside the draped off area opened at HOLY MOTHER OF JEEBUS! The WONDER GIRLS came in! Yoobin even teased us by poking her head out from the curtained room and said Hi – I was second in line so was literally 2 steps away from her.

To be perfectly honest, my heart just stopped beating and I totally forgot to breath – and after Yoobin went back inside, I started leaning on Nova because I was totally out of it!

AHEM! I did calm myself down – somewhat.

So since Nova was first in line, we went in first. Nova went straight over to the 3 unnies while my legs refused to move so I ended up standing with Sun Mi and So Hee by the entrance where we came in. I was speechless.

So Hee saw me and came to introduce herself (not like she needed any introduction) and that finally snapped me out of my daze. I started sorting out the gifts I got them from Australia (cute little pouches that I filled with stuff) and said: “I got you guys some gifts from Australia.”

So Hee’s mouth literally formed an ‘O’ when she heard me. Same with Sun Mi – she was so surprised, it was adorable! I deliberately said “Australia” really loud so the others heard me as well. I looked over at the 3 other girls to see if they heard me and their eyes were so wide in surprise – ADORABLE! Ye Eun and So Hee kept repeating the word ‘Australia’ over and over again which was so cute.

So I gave them their gifts and Yoobin leaned over to hug me and OMFG!…let me calm myself down first…ok – so she stepped forward to hug me and I placed my arms around her without actually touching her in case I woke up because it was so surreal – I was not believing that it was happening! They opened the pouch to see what was in it and Sun Ye saw the Cadbury chocolate I bought them (the wrapping had pictures of Australian animals on it) and she was like: “Is this Cadbury? I love Cadbury!”

And I totally started grinning like an idiot.

Sun Mi and So Hee kept thanking me and I told them – “It is totally worth it. Seeing you guys make the whole 24 hour flight worth it,” and MISO was once again surprised – Sun Mi was like “24 HOURS!? O_O” and I nodded and smiled at her.

I then took out the Wonder Years CD for the Hall of Heroes contest and asked Sun Mi to sign it for Kam – to: Panda Alian – Sun Mi asked what my name was and I told her that I was giving this to a friend and if she could sign Panda Alien. She started giggling a lot when I said ‘alien’. So Hee also signed it as well but since Hana said 1 autograph each – I wanted them to sign my t-shirt so I got the girls to sign my t-shirt (so MISO – Sun Mi and So Hee ended up signing 2 of my items!)

Everything happened so quickly. I had to get over my initial shock of seeing them so I lost some time that I could have been talking to them! There are so many more things I needed to do but I totally forgot but I will try my best at the Toronto concert.

We also took a group photo with the Wonder Girls and I stood next to Yoobin and So Hee. Honest, So Hee was never my favourite, I like her but never really noticed her as much as the other girls – HOWEVER, this experience totally changed that!

So Hee is the sweetest girl ever or maybe I’m bias because she approached me first. All the girls were so gorgeous and sweet – it’s hard to explain in words. I really could not believe how pretty they all were while standing in front of them. It still feels like a dream now – a whole day after the concert – I still can’t believe it all happened. If I didn’t have the posters and tshirts and photos and videos AND the fact that I’m in the US to prove that I was there, I would totally believe that this was all a dream.

After the meeting, we went out and waited while the others had their turn.

I don’t know whether we were like that but every other fan*tastic after us who met the Wonder Girls, came out with this dreamy and dazed look on their face!

We then spotted a whiteboard where Jeffy and I started scribbling Wonder Girls advertisement everywhere – over JB fans’ writing – and others gradually came to join us in our epic Wonder Ops mission. After that, as we waited for the Wonder Girls to finish meeting the last people, one of the fan*tastics asked us if we knew the Nobody dance (HELL YEAH!) and suggested we danced for the girls while she turned the song on on her cellphone.

We ended up dancing without the song played – instead we started singing the it. The girls poked their head out from behind the curtains and was enjoying the show ^____^ they clapped at the end and Sun Mi did some sort of seal clap and pretended to cry before disappearing behind the curtains (Nova saw this – I missed it).

FAN*TASTIC

We headed upstairs to receive flyers to hand out. Nova was holding her banner and Jeffy and I handed out the fliers to people outside the venue. Then I suddenly lost sight of Jeffy and Nova so I handed the fliers out myself by one of the entrances. The sheer amount of people who came out from the doors was just – WHOA! I held up the fliers and started screaming out: “The Wonder Girls – Opened for the Jonas Brothers Concert tonight and for more concerts to come! Debuting in the US with their Nobody single and their album is coming out soon – Preorder inside the venue!”

I kept repeating that over and over and over again.

I didn’t even have to go up to people at that point because people started hearing me scream and came to me asking for fliers – I was surrounded by people wanting a flier at some points. A lot of the parents were interested and got fliers for their daughters. They asked me more questions about the Wonder Girls like where the girls were from and I started going on a info surge and told them about WG’s 2 years debut, how popular they were and still are in Asia and that Papa Jonas invited them.

It was fun handing out the fliers and talking to a lot of JB fans or JB fans’ parents about the Wonder Girls. They were genuinely interested, the ones I was talking to. There were some who just shook their head whe I handed them a flier but I was fine with that. I’d rather they NOT take one than took one and throw it in the bin or play frisbee with it (like it happened in San Jose).

I stayed outside until hardly anyone was coming out anymore. Then I went into the foodcourt area where a lot of people were buying snacks and drinks (I so needed a drink after all the yelling and screaming). I handed out fliers to people lining up at food stores and people sitting down and eating – I wasn’t screaming anymore but I was waving the fliers around so people can see it.

A few young girls came and ask for fliers and a little girl (after seeing the flier) was like: “OH! So THAT’S what they look like!”

I thought that was cute.

By the time I went back to the Wonder Girls’ stall where they were having the public meet and greet, the line had dwindled down. I thought about going in line but Hana said we’d get a chance to take photos with the girls after – that never happened.

The fan*tastics were doing an epic job teaching the JB fans that were in line the Nobody dance.

When Yoobin’s rap started for the last time since they were about to leave, all the fan*tastics started rapping along with the music and Yoobin rapped with us. When I said “Nobody nobody nobody nobody but you!” – I pointed at Yoobin and she pointed at me as well ^__^ and NO – there was no one behind me and she actually looked at me (EYE CONTACT!) I was ectastic!

They started leaving and the fan*tastics followed them until they got to the elevator to go backstage again (I think). While they wanted for the elevator to arrive, we started saying goodbyes and ‘Sarangheyo’ – random stuff. I screamed out (I have no idea where I found the strength to still scream) “COME TO AUSTRALIA!” and Yoobin looked over at me and screamed “I WANT TO COME TO AUSTRALIA! SEE YOU IN TORONTO!” – because I told them I’m going to the Toronto concert as well.

Even though I didn’t get to talk to Yoobin at the Fan*tastic Meet and Greet, I had a lot of awesome moments with her. The hug – the small eye contact – her responding to my “COME TO AUSTRALIA” and Nova said Ye Eun and Yoobin kept looking over at our way a lot.

I wonder if they’ll remember me when I see them in Toronto.

Once upon a time there were three giant Wonder Girls fans; Helen, Jeffy, and Nova. They had been hearing all the great things about the Wonder Girls on the Jonas Brothers Tour and decided that they had to go to the Atlanta concert for themselves. Helen traveled from Australia, Nova hopped a plane from Ohio, and Jeffy… walked a few blocks from his school to the arena.

We all basically met up and headed over to the Philips arena where the concert was being held super early. Our phones had been set up to tell us if the Girls tweeted for a Verizon bus appearance, but we never got any messages so we just assumed it was cancelled. W still decided to head over a few hours before the show started, mostly to hang around outside and see if we could see other Wonderfuls. The Philips arena was literally crawling with Jonas Brothers fangirls of all shapes and sizes and it was a little bit terrifying, but also really amazing. There were thousands of people there for a sold out show and Wonder Girls was going to be performing for ALL of them!

First we headed over to the Verizon bus just to see if there were any lingering elements of the Wonder Girls over there. The bus was graffitied into oblivion and there were no other WG fans, but we decided to get some pictures anyway. I pulled out my giant six foot long Wonder Girls banners and Jeffy took some pics of Helen and I holding the banners (‘witness the wonder’ side and ‘yubin is my homegirl’ side ) in front of the bus. We were kind of attracting a lot of attention for the epically huge banners and a Verizon employee actually came up to us and asked if we saw the Wonder Girls when they were at the bus earlier. We of course said no, since we didn’t think they were going to be there from their lack of tweets. Turned out the bus dance session was supposed to have been cancelled, but they decided to have one at the last minute and so they didn’t tweet about it. And we had missed it all. Gah!

It was disappointing for us, but we pulled ourselves together. Helen and I each slung one of the banners around ourselves like capes and Jeffy proudly held my Keroro Gunso doll that was to be my present for Yubin and we walked around the arena waiting for the show to start. We headed over to the stalls selling concert merch and they were offering a brand new Wonder Girls shirt (black shirt with the logo on the front and ‘I am a wonder girl’ written on the back in pink glitter) and Nobody posters. Of course we had to stop and buy a bunch of swag. After we were laden down with our new purchases we kept walking around the arena, getting a good amount of attention from Jonas Brothers fans due to Jeffy wearing a pink glitter ‘I am a wonder girl’ shirt and Helen and I wearing giant banners, and we attracted the attention of a staff member running a WG table. It was apparently the first night they were doing pre-orders for the US debut album. It was 20 dollars down and you got the album shipped to you when it was released. Plus since we were in the first group of preorders we would get an autographed copy and a free WG laptop case. SCORE!

So after we preordered our WG albums we headed to our seats. We all had to sit in different parts of the arena since the tickets in groups of three were already sold out. The seats were all decent though and we were only one section up above the floor. I gave one of my banners to Helen to wave and Jeffy held onto the Keroro Gunso doll for Yubin. As soon as I made it to my seat I explained to the Jonas Brothers fangirls sitting next to me that I would really appreciate it if they could help me hold my banner up when the Wonder Girls sang because it was just too long for me to hold on my own. They actually came through and held their end of the banner up when the Wonder Girls came out, which was fantastic cause I was too busy spazzing.

The Girls did a lovely job. Their English has really improved leaps and bounds from what it was when I saw them live back in March. They calmly lead the audience through a quick tutorial of Nobody and then started up the song. I tried to hold the banner and do the dance at the same time. Helen was having the same difficulty and eventually just gave up on the banner and just did the dance. A lot of the people near Helen and me were rather apathetic about the Girls, which was unfortunate. But over on Jeffy’s side of the arena a lot of people were dancing along. So I guess the high energy was contagious over there.

We basically decided it wasn’t worth the burst eardrums from the screams of the fangirls to stay in the arena for Jonas Brothers, so we all ducked out early and headed over to the preorder table again. Helen and I hung up one of my banners on the table for extra decoration and the guy thanked us. Once Jeffy escaped from the fangirl hordes we headed up to the Verizon bus for the FAN*tastics.

The area outside the Verizon bus actually had a lot of us FAN*tastics. The three of us had been searching high and low throughout the show for other fans, but there was at least a good 15-16 people for the team. And everyone was really nice. We all talked and were generally excited waiting for Hana to show up for us to go backstage. A random Wonderful walked up to me and gave me a bag of Korean food to pass on to the Girls and I promised I would deliver it to them. It weighed like a metric ton. After we chatted amongst ourselves for a while Hana showed up sporting her list of members and she said hi to everyone. Then she turned to me and was like “oh Alice I recognize you!” and she totally remembered me from the NYC dance and MTV back in March. It was really sweet. She lined us up, with me in front and Helen and Jeffy close behind and we all headed backstage.

She ended up taking us down beneath the stage to the practice basketball courts for the Atlanta team. They had it set up with a little cloth cubicle of sorts where we would get our meet and greet sessions with the Girls. Hana let us choose to go individually or in groups, so of course the Spec! trio decided to stick together. We spent a nervewracking few minutes waiting for them to show up. Jeffy decided to change his shirt to the white one so he could get it autographed. Helen tried to figure out all her gifts for the Girls (they were really awesome Australian bags with candy and personalized books and poems for the Girls). I was sort of standing off to the side with my banner and Hana caught a glimpse of it and told me she thought it was really awesome. She asked me if I could hold it up and stand near the preorder booth to pump people up. I told her that I in fact made two banners and one of them was already upstairs hanging on the preorder booth and that they could keep it if they wanted it. Her jaw practically dropped at this and she said, “seriously!?” and then ran off and grabbed other staff members (possibly including Rainstone PD? It happened so fast I’m not sure) to show them the banner and tell them that I had given them one.

Eventually we heard the clip clop of high heels on the wood of the basketball court and we knew that the Girls had arrived behind the black curtain. Most of them started lining up and getting ready to greet us, but Yubin started to head out from behind the curtain. The staff members told her to stay back, but she stuck her head out anyway and waved goofily at all of us. Basically all of us were totally jazzed, but Helen almost passed out on top of me from the shock of it. Quite hilarious. We were the first group to go in, so we headed behind the curtain to meet our idols.

Helen and Jeffy were in a state of shock and took a few seconds to even start talking to any of the Girls. I put the bag of food down on the floor and told the Girls that it was a present from a Wonderful outside and that it was Korean food. Sun Ye ran forward and said, “Korean food finally!” and was really super excited. I walked forward to Yubin and gave her my Keroro Gunso doll and she hugged it and said it was cute. Helen and Jeffy sort of stuck closer to the other end of the line and were mostly talking to the miso duo. Helen gave out her Australian presents and again Sun Ye got really excited for the food, especially the Cadbury chocolate. They all seemed really blown away by the fact that she came from Australia for this, so I don’t think they will be forgetting her anytime soon. Jeffy stepped forward and hugged Yubin (and wants everyone to know that she is really soft, his words not mine) and Helen got a Wonder Years CD signed for Kam. She even asked Sun Mi to make it out to panda alien which seemed to amuse the 4D girl to no end. I stayed on the other end of the line closer to the older three girls. Ye Eun sort of stared at me for a bit and finally said “I recognize you from your FAN*tastics video. You were the one that ran over the car and stuff to hand out flyers.” I nearly DIED. Just the knowledge that one of those views on my youtube video was the Wonder Girls was too much for me. Then Sun Ye and Ye Eun recognized me from the NYC stage dancers and gave me hugs for it. Yubin totally jumped in on that too. I showed all of them my Wonder Girls banner and then flipped it to the Yubin side and Yubin thought it was awesome. She got really excited and gave me the thumbs up. The staff members took our cameras and got some pictures of us together holding up the Spec banner. After they got group pics I got my video camera back and asked Yubin for a shoutout for Megan and she did an absolutely lovely one that I’m sure she will share with everyone when I get it off my camera.

In the end I got my banner signed by the Girls, 4 on one side and then Yubin solo on the side with her name. She said “I’m gonna write this super big,” and did a giant signature for me. Then she asked me for my name and put it on there too. At that point our time was basically up and we went to leave. Helen mentioned that she would see them again in Toronto and I said I would see them in Cleveland and this made Yubin really happy and she said she would see us there.

We all staggered, stunned, outside to wait for the rest of the FAN*tastics to get their stuff signed and whatnot. I feel kinda bad cause I think we got a lot more time with them overall than the other groups did, probably because we were first. But while we waited for everyone to finish up one of the other Wonderfuls organized us into doing the nobody dance while we all sang the English refrain to nobody. It was really awesome and all the Girls poked their heads out from behind the curtain and cheered and clapped for us. Sun Mi had her biggest 4D moment yet and started clapping like a seal with joy and then pretended to cry and ran off. Everyone who saw it was cracking up.

After that we headed upstairs and got the flyers to hand out to people post-concert. We grabbed giant handfuls and head outside. I held my banner up outside for most of it, but I tried to talk to Jonas Brothers fans as they were leaving. It seemed really 50/50 on whether or not they were receptive. Some people wanted nothing to do with anything that wasn’t 100% Jonas Brothers. But some people actively looked for the flyers and actually asked for extras for the rest of their family members, which was pretty cool. Jeffy and I ran out of flyers pretty quickly and had to go back inside for more. Helen had grabbed far more than us and kept braving the Jo Bros hordes to spread the Wonder Girls love. Once Jeffy and I got back to the booth we got roped into hyping up the people who were walking by or getting in line to meet the Wonder Girls. They gave a megaphone to one Wonderful and she was cheering on people and doing a really awesome job. I waved my banner around and the rest of the FAN*tastics handed out flyers and taught the Nobody dance. They ended up getting a pretty long line of people and a lot of them were really into it. They would dance and sing along and everything. There was a very positive reception! I also got the impression that we might have been more enthusiastic FAN*tastics than the usual bunches cause Hana seemed really happy about it all.

In the end they closed up the line before we could join it and get more pictures, but we were all kinda okay with that since we had already gotten our time with the Girls. They all started heading back to their dressing room and all us FAN*tastics sort of followed them quietly. When they reached the elevators to leave Helen yelled out “come to Australia!” Yubin waved back and said that she definitely would and all us Wonderfuls gave a last cheer for the Girls.

All in all, it was a great trip and well worth the journey (especially for Jeffy who only had to go a few blocks). Our mini Spec meetup was super fun and we had no regrets!

I’m sure Helen and Jeffy will have things to say as well that I might have left out. They should also post pictures too since most of what i got was video!

Here’s my story on being a fan*tastic in Atlanta. ^^ ummm… sorry ahead of time for such a looong post ><

Ok so me and my brother didn’t have tickets to the concert so we just got to the meeting place for the fan*tastics around 8:45 pm. Right after we got there Hana came out and gave everyone wristbands and talked to us. Afterwards Hana took everyone to this room where we were going to meet WG. While we were waiting my brother took a picture with Hana CLICKIE Anyways, everyone was so excited and stuff and we all couldn’t wait to see the Wonder Girls. After waiting for like 10 minutes we see some staff coming out and then BAM the WG walk out. haha everyone starting screaming and stuff. The Wonder Girls were supposed to be behind this curtained room but i think Yubin and Sohee didn’t know so they almost walked out to us directly but a staff stopped them But yubin still stuck her head out and waved at everyone ^^

Anyways, everyone got in a line so we could meet the WG. Me and my brother were last in line but it was ok because the line wasn’t that long Well finally it was our turn and oh my gosh we were freaking out. So we go in and WOW the Wonder Girls are so pretty ^^ We were basically starstruck =o=;; Anyways, I gave the girls our gift bags CLICKIE (omg i felt so bad for mixing up sunye’s gift bag. >< my brother was holding her bag and she was like, “Is that for me? ” but my brother was like I don’t know O_O and so he gave it to me and i tried to give it to yubin but she was like, “that’s for sun…”) and we got our posters signed. >< I didn’t like the fact that we were only allowed to get one item signed… Then we stood with the WG and got our pictures taken and omg my brother was so lucky to get a selca pic with yubin. ><

The girls were soooo nice and they’re so pretty, tall, and skinny haha =o=;; My brain wasn’t really functioning that well and i don’t really remember everything because i was so stunned XDD. I talked to Sohee and Sunmi a little but i was so nervous. haha I asked them if they weren’t tired but they replied that they weren’t and that they were having fun. I also asked Sunmi if she like SNSD and she was YEA i do, do you? and i smiled and was like yes, taeyeon unnie. and Sunmi laughed and said me too.

I was so disappointed that we only got to spend like 5 minutes with the girls but those 5 minutes were awesome. XDD
After everyone got to meet the WG, all the fantastics (haha except me) danced nobody for the WG and yubin or somebody said something like you guys are better than us… and sunmi was like clapping really hard and then covered her face with her hands
Well afterwards all the fantastics were led out to this area and we were given flyers and stuff to hand out. We did that for like an hour and then we went to the M&G but i didn’t get to meet the WG again because security closed the line >< But i still took pictures of them

After the M&G the girls were whisked away and we all followed them to the elevator and WG waved and said bye and stuff.

All in all, i had a great time but i was a little disappointed that the girls didn’t have an autograph session or anything.
lol i kind of feel like jyp ent. used the fantastic team for their own gain because we did a lot of work and not a lot of meeting….. BUT i guess i’m ok because hey i got to meet the Wonder Girls.

i didn’t get to go to the actual concert (becos they weren’t announced for my city and by the time i finally found out they WERE coming to new orleans, the prices for baaad seats were insane) but i DID go see them in front of the VERIZON bus.

the location wasn’t good enough to do the Nobody dance, the lady staffs said that they were just going to come out & we could meet them & everything. we waited around and it was about 20 mins past 4 (it was scheduled for 4:00-30) and they finally came out in their beautiful, shining gold dresses XD. i hugged yeeun as soon as she walked up becos she was soo nice & warm & friendly, i just nearly melted.

the guy said that we could take some pics w/ them so to hand him our camera and he’d take the pic. it was really sort of chaotic at that point, even tho there really weren’t that many people there (shoutout to the WG fans i met ^^) and finally the guy was like “ok only 3 more pictures!” and i was like AHH i NEED to get a pic w/ them!!

so finally, it’s the last picture and i manage to give my camera to the guy and i get to take my pic w/ the wonder girls!! standing right next to sohee, my fave! they’re so at ease with fans, it’s really amazing & inspiring. we took the pic, sohee turned to me and said “thank you!” and i was like “thank YOU” and took my camera and then they all had to go.

i’ve only been a casual fan of WG since their debut, but upon meeting them, i have definitely gained much MUCH more respect for them; to not be 100% comfortable with english, and yet to greet their fans with such love is truly amazing. WG FIGHTING!

We got dropped off and walked around to the other side, trying to find the Verizon bus. We found the spot and there were about 20-30 fans there. Lol, tall fanboys next to us. Then someone spotted them coming out of the venue and walking toward the group and we freaked out.

Aimee has a video of the whole thing… she just needs to upload it. They are so freakin’ pretty in person and I will never stop saying that. Their English is really good and they’re just super cute. They taught the dance (though most of us knew it) and then picked two girls to come up and dance. Then they left. Kinda short but it was crazy hot outside so I can’t blame them.

We sat through Honor Society’s opening set. They finished and I knew the Wonder Girls were next and got all excited. When the guy started introducing them Aimee and I stood up (Ashley stayed seated the whole time, lol) and people around us were very “what the heck???” when I started screaming for them. They started with Tell Me and my reaction could only be described as DDDDDDDDDD. Aimee recorded the video of that one and I took pics. She hasn’t uploaded that either, the video picture itself isn’t that great but the sound is good. I took a few pictures but mostly just sang and dance.

Then they performed Nobody! Well, they taught the dance first. That and the song itself Aimee recorded with my camera.

I let out a “SOHEEEE!” at a quiet moment (and a “YOOBIIIINNN! at a kinda quiet moment when they were about to walk off). I got my singing and dancing on. People stood up for them during the dance teaching but it was mostly only people in the actual floor seating that stayed up for the song. The people around me looked at us oddly a lot but forget them. They finished and the crew started setting up for the Jonas Brothers.

So we lined up! We were near the front of the line because only the Wonder Girl fans lined up early and we were hanging out in the area. I got a little anxious as the line started moving. They were doing pictures only and Aimee, Ash, and me went in at the same time and Aimee got her pic first (Ash didn’t take one).

Aimee told Sohee that she was her favorite (and she said, “Oh thank you so much!”), lol, and got hugs from everyone but Sunye (her bad!). Then she told them it was my birthday because I walked up there and Yoobin (j:AJF:LADLKF:Ldfaj;sldkja9) asked, “So you’re the birthday girl?” I said, “yeah” and they went: “Happy Birthday!!!” and Yoobin put her arm around me.

I walk off after getting a Yoobin hug (again!) and and Yeeun hug (she was so dang sweet the whole time) and pretty much skipped over to my sister. We thought about standing there and taking pictures but a venue worker told us to leave or go back inside which we did and got back in line. It was a lot longer by then but it went pretty quickly. I was worried they might kick us out and not let us back through (I didn’t see anyone else get back in line). So when we went back in I was walking/hiding behind my sister but when they saw us we got a DD reaction. Aimee asked Sohee if she could stand next to her and Sohee smiled and said “Yeah! Of course!” Sunmi, omg lol, told my sister, “Thank you for coming… again!” and my sister said, “Shhh, don’t tell.” and Sunmi smiled and said, “It’s okay!”. MOVING ON… lol. I also walked up to them and Yeeun pretty much beamed at me and said, “You’re a Wonder Girl!” and I just smiled like an idiot and I forget what Yoobin said. I tried to face forward like I did in the first pic but didn’t realize Yeeun and Sunye had angled themselves and ended up elbowing Yeeun. D: I told her sorry and she patted my back and laughed. We took the pictures (duh!)

and I gave them all a hug before skipping off again. And then I went home. Lol. But they were all super friendly and sweet and made each person feel special. I was a big fan of the girls before I went but I can’t explain in words how much I love them now.
