It was announced that next month Wonder Girls will be releasing a new mini album worldwide. While some fans were disappointed about the news that it was just going to be an EP, it looks like this will just be a taste for what’s coming.

It turns out that a totally new album will be released in July.

A JYPE representative said that the May mini album will have the English versions of ‘Nobody’, ‘So Hot’, and ‘Tell Me’, as well as 2 to 3 new songs.

It is already known that the title song of the mini album will be released in 3 different languages. Meanwhile, the album to be release in July will be a completely different English album.

In December it was revealed that Wonder Girls were working with producer musician, Dave Stewart. Their collaboration resulted in a song named ‘Always Without Me’ which was supposed to be included in the album set to be released in February. After the announcement that Wonder Girls would be releasing a mini album in May, many believed this song would be forgotten but we might actually hear the Wonder Girls singing it.

The JYPE representative also said, “The album that is going to be released in July may contain the song by Eurythmic’s member Dave Stewart.”

It’s kind of interesting that a new English album will be released in July while Wonder Girls will be having their tour in June where they said they would be singing in Korean and English since they don’t have many English songs.

Seems like Wonder Girls are not giving up on their journey to conquer the American market.

Bingo Hideout, a European bingo site (bingo on allkpop? what?), recently shed the spotlight on the Wonder Girls, speculating that the girls could very well be the next stars to sweep the United Kingdom by storm. People all over the world have begun to catch on to Wonder Girls’ milestone achievements, which include performing on So You Think You Can Dance, hitting #1 on Google’s trending topics, collaborating with the widely-acclaimed Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, conceptualizing a solo American tour, leaving a mark on Billboard.Com’s Hot 100, being featured in People Magazine, and of course, touring with the Jonas Brothers nationally… and even they’ve predicted that the girls are going to take over the world.

The five members in the Wonder Girls are cute and bubbly and provide an instant attraction to the viewer and listener reminiscent of the Spice Girls when they first bounced onto the pop scene. Hmm, I know we have a number of UK Wonderfuls on allkpop and the WG Spectacle Forums, and I’m sure y’all would love to see this happen. As long as the girls don’t come out with some UK version of Nobody (how would that even work? Nobody with a British accent?) and promote it into 2012 or something, I’m definitely up for it as well!

The Wonder Girls, who are currently in the US, will be introducing their first album in US soon. With Dave Steward and company invited to join in the production of this album, it is due to be released in February 2010.

On 5 Dec US time, US’ famous music producer Dave Steward posted a photo of him and the Wonder Girls on twitter in the production of their album, and introduced a demo version of his collaboration with the Wonder Girls , titled  “Always Without Me”, to be released in the Wonder Girl’s US debut album.

The representative of JYPE has also acknowledged the fact of this collaboration, and that the Wonder Girls feel honored to be able to work with Dave, and has decided to make this album one of their best. The representative also revealed that the Wonder Girls are currently working very hard for this album in the US, and is due to be released in February 2010.
