On the 2nd February, Wonder Girls’ first ever US TV-Movie special began airing in the United States on American television network, TeenNick.

According to the comments posted across social network platforms as well as certain teen sites, many were having mixed feelings about the movie – either good, neutral or bad.

This is the first time for the international sensation taking on a leading role on the US television. Some thought that the TV-Movie could be better in terms of the storyline, while many had gave kudos to the Wonder Girls’ acting skills, as well as their English. Overall, it was pretty alright for a movie that is targeted at “Tweens”, as compared to many TV-Movies that were made these days.

The Wonder Girls are making their way into Hollywood.

On 20th January, a premiere screening of Wonder Girls’ first ever TV-Movie, “The Wonder Girls”, at Los Angeles, CGV Theatres.

It was a star studded event, not only the cast of “The Wonder Girls” movie (School Gyrls, Wes Aderhold, Nick Cannon, J.Y Park & Wonder Girls) were at the premiere, but BooBoo (Twighlight) & Fivel Stewart, Colette Carr, as well as Stephen Glickman (Big Time Rush) made their appearance at the red carpet.

At the red carpet, the Wonder Girls also expressed that: “We are really grateful to be given such opportunity, & can’t thank our fans enough for their support. We also enjoyed working with the amazing cast & crew of our movie!”

“The Wonder Girls” movie is said to be the highly anticipated movie amongst the fans of the international sensation, & had been the talk of the town ever since the project were announced.

Except for the few cheesy lines in the script,  it is not the asian type of movie you’re probably be thinking of. The movie will definitely worth the 1 hour spent right infront of your tv.
