[EXCLUSIVE] Wonder Girls Singapore Music Showcase Coverage
Posted under: Die-hard fans of the Wonder Girls queued overnight (from as early as 8pm the day before) to secure the best standing spots for the Wonder Girls’ FIRST ever music showcase in Singapore as Sony Ericsson’s newly appointed digital brand ambassadors.
The showcase itself took place at Marina Bay Sands (posh!) and was held on the 18th of June. More than 2000 over fans, including Sony Ericsson customers attended this one of the most anticipated showcase ever in Singapore. If you missed this showcase, FRET NOT! because thanks to Sony Ericsson Singapore, WonderFuls World was given exclusive media coverage for the event. Wonderfuls~! please enjoy and keep drooling to a minimum 
The evenings’ proceedings began with the host of the evening Jamie Yeo bringing the girls out for brief introductions and the presentation of auction winners with their autographed X10mini phone sets. Ye Eun broke a couple of hearts by initiating a hug with an auction winner but all was forgotten when kids from the Singapore Children Society came on stage to present flowers (Awwwww).
As the girls were invited offstage to prepare for the the first song, the 2 Different Tears music video played and fans got a chance to warm up those vocal cords and fully display their screaming prowess. The anticipation reached an all time high as the lights finally dimmed and the girls took the stage with 2 Different Tears. It was evident that wonderfuls had been practising hard because the fanchants were impressive & highly coordinated.
Following on, the girls also performed their own routine of Pussycat Dolls’ Don’t Cha, show casing a different side of their charms. A remixed version of So Hot was also performed as well. Nonetheless, Wonder Girls performed their global smash hit single Nobody, before ending the night with a remxied dance break version of Tell Me.
It was truly an amazing night, when you can get to see almost half of the songs that Sony Ericsson’s Digital Brand Ambassadors’ Wonder Girls, would be performing during their first ever US headlining tour.
