[EXCLUSIVE] Wonder Girls Singapore Media Press Conference Coverage!

On the 16th of June, while most other people were preoccupied with flash floods and iconic coffee joints going under water, we fought the weather with unwavering determination to get to Marina Bay Sands because we were lucky enough to be invited to the exclusive press conference that the Wonder Girls were attending as Sony Ericsson’s newly appointed digital brand ambassadors.

Upon arriving, we quickly snapped pictures like a couple of trigger happy holiday goers and were thoroughly putting our new X10 mini to the test as we furiously tweeted live updates to Wonderfuls World readers who were waiting in anticipation. Lucky for us, the X10 mini makes it very easy to update both Twitter and Facebook all with one touch of the screen (proving it to be a SMARTphone indeed!). With the inbuilt Timescape function, it has never been easier to keep track of feedback from amused readers eager to hear more answers from the Wonder Girls.

Noticed the service used that was displayed on Twitter's timeline?

Our unrelentless tweeting paused only momentarily when the 5 girls walked through the doors, showing off their Sony Ericsson android phones, looking radiant while beaming for the cameras. We quickly snapped ourselves out of ‘fan mode’ and back into ‘work mode’. Judging by your response to our twitter teasers we know you guys are dying to find out more so here are some of the questions we know you’d love to hear more about!

Q: The auction’s proceeds will go to Children Society, what do you think of children? Do you love children?

- We love children, when we see little children playing, we just can’t help but stop to watch them play, sometimes we might even join them.

- Yenny: I think Sun will be the first to get married, because she really loves children & enjoys cooking.

Q: What is the most phone application that u guys use the most?

- Yenny: We’ve lots of application on our android mobiles. I use alot of  Twitdroid, to update my tweets.

- Sun: Since we’re busy touring now in the US, with the Timescape function ion our phones, it is easier for us to connect with Twitter as we can track our Twitter updates anywhere we go.

Q: You guys recently made your comeback promotional activities in Korea, which also coincides with Super Junior. You guys lost to them for 3 weeks in K-Chart, but it seems that you guys have a good relationship with them on the recent episode of MBC’s Come To Play. So what do you think of Super Junior as? Are they Friends or Foes?

- Yenny: Since we’ve been working alot together, appearing on shows together, we’re now closer to them.

- Sun: They are really funny, & friendly

Q: So how does Sun feel about DongHae?

- Sun: He’s a good guy, now I’m much closer with him. He’s really funny & a fun guy.

Q: Can you tell us who has the most number of celebrity phone numbers in your mobile?

- Yenny: I think Yubin has the most number of celebrity’s contacts in her phone?

- Yubin: Yeah. Maybe 4 or 5? Except 2am, 2pm.

- Sun: Actually, since we’re now busy in the US, it is not really convenient for us to communicate with our friends in Korea. So we use Twitter & Facebook a lot to keep in touch.

Q: During the US tour recently, any interesting stories with 2PM?

- Yenny: We went bowling together, we split into 2 teams & Yubin’s team lost so Yubin had to pay for the drinks for everyone.

- Yubin: It was really expensive!

Q: Could you guys tell us about your roles in the group?

- Yenny: Well, Sohee’s actually the “hidden leader” of the group. She’s very powerful in the group, she usually decides & a perfectionist as well. She seems to be quiet on the outside but she’s really talkative after you get to know her.

Lim, she’s really sweet, cute & pure. She’s the one who sometimes talks out of point.

Sun, she’s the leader, like the mother in the group, she is also the one always saying something serious.

Yubin, is like a diva (on-stage), but she’s also the slowest person in the group, she always says something really slow & does things really slow as well.

Yenny, shes’s the talkative one, outgoing & very smart.

We also learnt that the girls really enjoyed themselves at the Night Safari even though they were jetlagged and that they absolutely cannot live without their mobile phones (we can’t live without our X10 mini either!!). They only had good things to say about Bobby Lee (who was featured in their latest MV) and the craziest things a fan has ever done for them? Tattoo both their names and the Korean flag on himself – sweet but painful!
