For the first time ever, Korea’s sisters Wonder Girls made their U.S. performing with the song that Koreans love most and gave them much success (Nobody).

On June 27th at 7PM at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon, 20,000 spectators gathered to watch the opening performance of Jonas Brother’s concert, which featured Wonder Girls’ first U.S. debut.

Wearing shiny purple dresses for Tell Me, the Wonder Girls began their opening performance with a catchy music and cute dance to capture the audiences’ attention. After the Tell Me performance, Kevin Jonas–the man in charge of Wonder Girls’ management in the U.S. and Jonas Brothers’ father–deliberately appeared on stage to introduce the Wonder Girls. He made appraisals of their “perfect choreography and dance” and comments, like “How do they operate so perfectly to the rhythm?”

“I’d like to introduce you to the biggest music group in Asia. Music is worldwide, right?!! Well get up on your feet and follow this amazing dance of the Wonder Girls!!!!” The audience responded by standing from their seats as the Wonder Girls entered the stage donning white one-pieces to perform their second song “Nobody.” The crowd seemed to enjoy the performance and the atmosphere was high.

Not only the spectators, but the Jonas Brothers–especially Joe Jonas–danced and sang along to Nobody during rehearsals too. After having made a strong impression on the audience with their first performance in the U.S., the Wonder Girls held a fan meeting with fellow guests Honor Society after the show, wherein they signed autographs and took photos with fans.

Not only are the Wonder Girls a hot topic overseas, but in domestic areas as well.  Fans are able to keep in contact with JYP through Twitter (www.twitter.com/followjyp), where he leaves such updates like “We’ll do our best to maximize this opportunity for us & for u guys!” He uploaded photos from the fan meeting, complimenting on the Wonder Girls that “They killed it. I’m so proud of them!!”

A representative at JYP Entertainment stated, “Now, a significant challenge has begun. I am very curious to see how the #1 song in our nation [Korea] will do in the states.” “I hope that people will support the Wonder Girls through the challenge they will face of replicating the same song with the same style in America,” he revealed.

On the 27th, the Wonder Girls will be releasing their digital single of Nobody in America and in the domestic areas on the 29th.

You can follow JYP on his Twitter (www.twitter.com/followjyp), wherein he will inform fans of the plans for the Wonder Girls during the tour.
